Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of profitability ratio, leverage, and activity on financial distress in textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling method based on certain criteria so that 41 samples were obtained. The data used is secondary data obtained from the financial statements of textile and garment companies published on the IDX. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 22 application. The results of the study show that the profitability ratio has no effect on financial distress. Leverage ratios have a negative effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, the activity ratio has a positive effect on financial distress.
