Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of business characteristics and culture of innovation on the implementation of accounting information systems in MSMEs in Palembang City. The data used is primary data obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study were MSMEs in Palembang City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 100 respondents. Hypothesis testing was carried out by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that business characteristics and culture of innovation have a significant effect on the implementation of accounting information systems, where MSMEs with larger business characteristics and a high culture of innovation tend to more easily adopt accounting information systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
