Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and workload on the intention of restaurant employees in Palembang to quit work. Primary data obtained through a questionnaire from 121 respondents, selected using the formula Hair et al., were used in this study. Data analysis includes validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and descriptive statistics. A multiple linear regression model was used to test the research hypothesis. The results show that compensation has a negative insignificant effect on intention turnover, while workload has a significant positive influence, which means that the higher the workload, the greater the turnover intention.
