Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of stock split and financial performance on the volume of trading volume activity focusing on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and conducting stock splits in 2018-2023. The data used are secondary data. The population in this study are companies listed on the IDX and conducting stock splits in 2018. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method and 48 companies were obtained with a total of 96 samples. Hypothesis testing was carried out using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that stock splits had a positive effect on trading volume activity and financial performance had no effect on trading volume activity.
