Abstract

Fertilizer is one of the materials that are highly sought after by farmers. This is because chemical fertilizers contain elements that are very important for plant growth and fertilization. The existence of fertilizer sellers has a huge impact on farmers. Bangun Jaya Fertilizer Shop has been selling fertilizer since 2010. As a fertilizer shop, of course, it must have the stock of goods that farmers want so that there is a necessity for fertilizer shops to meet fertilizer needs. Due to frequent loss sales due to insufficient stock of goods due to shop owners still using conventional methods. Therefore, a calculation is made to increase sales with the EOQ method so that the store can increase sales and reduce store inventory costs. 3. To reduce store inventory costs, calculations are made using the EOQ method and comparing it with the method used by Bangun Jaya store. The results of the comparison of implementation in March using EOQ calculations with the initial method of the store decreased inventory costs by 102,915,000 or by 54% of the store's initial method of Rp191,150,000.
