Abstract

ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF IS/IT-BASED RISK MANAGEMENT USING ISO 31000:2018 STANDARD (Case Study: Hospital X) Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) is considered innovation in the form of artifacts, techniques and knowledge that can solve human problems. However, its use must be done with good understanding to avoid various risks that can harm many parties. Hospital X is one of the hospitals in the city of Palembang. Hospital X has implemented IS/IT in its business processes where IS/IT can help increase the efficiency of processes in the business. However, you need to know that the implementation of IS/IT cannot always run smoothly and of course still has its own shortcomings. Therefore, this research aims to determine, assess and minimize the risks that exist at Hospital X using the ISO 31000:2018 framework. From this research, 32 possible risks were found that could occur in hospital low risk, and 2 risks with a very low risk level. Risk management option plan, 71% of risks can be avoided, 27% of risks can be mitigated, 2% of risks are shared. From the risks that have been discovered, researchers provide suggestions or recommendations for handling risks, so that companies are able to minimize existing risks and can experience the benefits of the research carried out, in accordance with the aim of this research, namely to analyse the risks of implementing IS/IT.
