Abstract
ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF P5 IN SD XAVERIUS 2 PALEMBANG This study aims to determine the values of character education through the implementation of P5 at SD Xaverius 2 Palembang. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation. The subjects of this research were students of grades VA, VB and VC at SD Xaverius 2 Palembang totaling 88 people and 3 teachers. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman. Data validity used method triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of P5 at Xaverius 2 Palembang Elementary School contained 6 character values, namely, faith, piety to God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. The learning results of the Pancasila Learner Profile Reinforcement Project indicate that the implementation of the Pancasila Learner Profile Reinforcement Project has a significant impact on the character of students in grades VA, VB and VC at Xaverius 2 Palembang Elementary School.
