Abstract
This research aims to determine the hardiness of special needs school teachers. This research uses a qualitative research design with an interview data collection method. The subjects in this research is special needs school teachers who had taught in special needs school for three years. This research used a purposive sampling technique with three subjects. The data analysis technique used is interpretative phenomenological analysis, namely the researcher wants to see how participants interpret their own experiences as people who directly experience an event. This research found three main aspects of hardiness in special needs school teachers, namely control, commitment, and challenge.
