Abstract
Vegetarian individuals have lower anthropometry (Body Mass Index (BMI) and body fat percentage) than non-vegetarians. Anthropometric values are related to hemodynamics (blood pressure) and biomarkers (total cholesterol and blood glucose) where blood pressure, total cholesterol and blood glucose in vegetarians are lower.
