Abstract
Background : Hallucinations are disturbances in a person's perception that assume something is not actually happening. Auditory hallucinations that are not treated properly will have detrimental effects on oneself, others and the environment. One therapy that can control hallucinations is classical music therapy which can reduce signs of hallucinations. Objective : To determine the application of classical music therapy to reduce signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations. Method : One group pretest and posttest application of music therapi to reduce signs og auditory hallucinations Results : The application of EBP classical music therapy which was carried out for 3 days 10 - 15 minutes in respondent 1 had signs of hallucination symptoms before the music therapy was carried out as many as 12 (100%) after being given classical music therapy there was a decrease in the signs of hallucination symptoms in 3 (25%), in respondent 2 of 12 (100%) decreased to 4 (33%), for respondent 3 from 12 (100%) to 9 (75%). Conclusion : Based on the application of classical music therapy, it was found that the three respondents experienced a decrease in hallucinatory symptoms. Suggestion : Respondents can control auditory hallucinations by listening to classical music
