Abstract

This research aims to analyze teachers' perceptions of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in optimizing learning in the Merdeka Curriculum. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation techniques. The subjects of this research were 12 teachers at SD Xaverius 9 Palembang. The research results showed that 12 teachers had the perception that ICT could increase student interaction, involvement and participation in learning. In this research, there are new findings, namely that 12 teachers stated that they faced challenges such as limited ICT infrastructure and skills in integrating ICT. The conclusion of this research is that teachers are aware of the role of ICT in improving learning in the Merdeka Curriculum and 12 teachers need adequate training, improved ICT infrastructure and ongoing support so that ICT can be used effectively in achieving the desired learning goals in schools.
