Abstract

Background: Caesarea section delivery is delivery to give birth to a fetus weighing 500 grams or more, through abdormal surgery by cutting the uterine wall. After undergoing SC surgery, the pain is still felt for 2-3 days, generally making mothers reluctant to move their bodies, let alone get out of bed. In fact, at this time obstetricians strongly recommend mothers who undergo cesarean section not to stay in bed, but must move their bodies. Therefore, early mobilization is very important to speed up the healing process,Not carrying out early monitoring can result in the body becoming tired easily and feeling sore Purpose: This study aims to determine the difference in knowledge about early mobilization in patients with sectio caesarea ERACS method in the inpatient room. Methods: This type of research is quantitative pre experimental research with research design one group pretest-posttrst design. The number of populations to be studied is 307, with a sample size of 77. Data collection tools using questionnaires. Data analysis used is univairat analysis and bivariate analysis. Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test knowledge variables (p<0.001).Univariate analysis: the average age of respondets was 26-35 years old and the majority had a high school education, bivariate analysis of respondents knowledge wa good at 87% after being given bookflet media education. Suggestion: It is hoped that after being given education using early mobilization booklet media can make respondents realize the benefits of early mobilization after SC eracs surgery so that respondents can also apply early mobilization steps. Conclusion: There is a significant difference between pre and post test knowledge about early mobilization in Section Caesarea patients using Eracs method in the inpatient room.
