Abstract

Water is the most basic need for living things. The water used must meet the requirements in terms of quality and quantity. The existence of industrial and residential developments can threaten the quality of clean water, so it is necessary to maintain water quality, therefore it is necessary to add another quality check before distribution to only operate from 07.30 to 16.00 so that after that hour there is no more checking with water. net that has been produced. The next data is the results of interviews with workers in PDAM Tirta Musi IPA Rambutan Palembang, the results are in the form of fishbone. With that, the results of field observations of the water treatment process at the Rambutan IPA have been carried out well. PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang Water Treatment Plant (IPA) Rambutan in the use of chemicals, namely coagulants of the type Aluminum Sulfate (Al2(SO4)3.14H2O), Lime (CaO) and Chlorine Gas (Cl) are already in use which are considered effective because based on laboratory results treated water according to the quality standards that have been set. Therefore, it is better for PDAM Tirta Musi IPA Rambutan to add automatic tools such as sensors so that the use of chemicals can be regular and automated so as to provide processed water results according to the quality standards set and also provide convenience in the use of materials Kimia.PDAM Tirta Musi IPA Rambutan should continue to strive to improve the best service to customers. Given the complaints received by employees, such as: cloudy water, dead water, and leaking pipes.
