Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of working capital to total asset, retained earning to total aset, earning before tax and interest to total asset, value equity to total liability, to financial distress. Eckel Index is used do determine the financial distress practice. The population in this study is perbankan company listed on indonesia Stock Exchange fo 4 years period (2009-2011). The sample determine by using use all the population perbankan company which is listed in BEI. The research sample is selected by 40 companies. The hypotheses were tested using logictic regression analysis with SPSS ver. 20. The result of this study showed that working capital to total asset, retained earning to total aset, earning before tax and interest to total asset, value equity to total liability did not have effect on financial distress
