Abstract

The increasingly varied demands of society demand not only the need for public facilities to accommodate their activities but also adequate facilities to accommodate the community in it. Humans need a means to express thoughts, interests, or entertainment that would not be fun if done independently. One example of a facility that accommodates existing communities is the Community Center. Thus, “Palembang Community Center” was chosen as the title of this research. This topic is expected to build public awareness with the existence of a community center in the city of Palembang to be able to provide convenience for the community to have activities and community with the facilities that have been provided. This design has a theme of Back to Nature which has a natural nuance with the concept of Lotus Leaf which uses a lotus morphology approach through the management of indoor and outdoor elements.
