Abstract

This study aims to find out how to apply managerial skills in principal leadership to teacher performance at SD Xaverius 4 Palembang. Method with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Hubermen consist of three. In this researcher, the main sources on the research subjects obtained information, namely the principal and teachers of SD Xaverius 4 Palembang. The results of research on managerial skills are the first conceptual skills, namely skills that lead to the principal in carrying out the task of planning and designing a school goal, the principal supports the performance of teachers in developing planning programs in achieving a goal for component programs, humanitarian skills that lead to relationships between principals providing information and establishing good communication on Teacher performance from the beginning to the end of activities and technical skills that lead to the principal's program to improve teacher performance such as in terms of supervision activities, curriculum development activities, teacher performance teaching program activities and school administration activities, from the results of this study shows that the resulting managerial skills of the principal can be applied and run very well, And the teacher's performance in teaching is very sufficient.
