Abstract

Background : The number of sexual violence in adolescents has increased every year, in 2022 there were 11,686 cases. Adolescent age groups is often victim of sexual violence because they are considered weak individuals and are considered very limited ability protection abilities against them. In addition, lack of knowledge causes adolescents to unconsciously experience sexual violence both physically, verbally, non-verbally, emotionally and visually. Objective : This study aims to detemine the picture of adolescents knowledge about sexual violence behavior. Methods : This research was conducted at Xaverius 1 Palembang on July 5-17, 2023. This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive design. The population in this study was all class X students at SMK Xaverius 1 Palembang. Sample consists of 109 respondents with the total sampling method. Data retrieval tool using questionnaire (google from). The analysis technuque uses univariate analysis. Result : High knowledge 92 (84,4%), medium knowledge 11 (10,1%) and low knowledge 6 (5,5%) Suggestion : the need for further programs in schools for students to maintain the quality of insight and knowledge about sexual vioence behavior and can further improve education programs about sex.
