Abstract

The Garuda Sriwijaya Subkoss Struggle Museum, Lubuklinggau City, is a museum that stores the history of the struggle of the people of South Sumatera against the Dutch and Japanese colonialists. This study aims to obtain the results of an ethnomathematics study from the Garuda Sriwijaya Subkos Struggle Museum, Lubuklinggau City in terms of historical, philosophical, and mathematical aspects and implement them in the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This study used an ethnographic approach with a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, documentation, field notes and data triangulation. The analysis technique includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions. The research subjects were 3 informants who interacted directly with the Garuda Sriwijaya Subkoss museum. The results of this study are that ethnomathematics studies from historical aspects can introduce history and local culture through historical objects that support the struggle during the physical revolution, from a philosophical aspect it provides lessons about the values of caring, cooperation, creativity and diversity that are owned by the community. . Mathematical concepts that can be developed start from the introduction of geometric concepts through the shapes of planes and shapes, and measurements of the area and volume of these planes and shapes. Implementation of research results can be used in learning in the Independent Curriculum on the themes of Local Wisdom and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
