Abstract
This study aims to describe the study of ethnomathematics on woven fabrics blongsong Palembang to elementary school mathematics learning. Type of descriptive qualitative research using ethnographic approach. The subject of this study there are 3 informants, namely operational managers, craftsmen woven fabrics blongsong, and sellers of woven fabrics blongsong. Data were collected based on interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study are as follows the existence of ethnomathematics activities on the manufacture of woven fabrics blongsong, the discovery of two-dimensional spatial shapes on five motifs blongsong woven fabrics in the form of squares, triangles, trapezoids, rectangles, rhombuses, and kites, the mathematical concept of tiling, length measurement, and time measurement. In elementary mathematics learning, ethnomathematics studies on blongsong woven fabrics can be studied on geometry and measurement materials in the independent curriculum.
