Abstract

Information technology can be used to make it easier for employees to find the items they need in the warehouse. By utilizing the data of the previous collection of goods, if the data is processed correctly it can produce useful information. The Apriori algorithm is one of the best algorithms in data mining. The purpose of this study is to create a system for determining the location of ship logistics goods by implementing the Apriori algorithm in the Class I Navigation District of Palembang. Based on the research that has been done, related to the data on the collection of goods in the navigation district, it will be successfully applied to determine the pattern of picking up goods in the Navigation District I Palembang. Where the Apriori Algorithm system that is made has a positive impact on helping staff to more easily find products to be taken. with the association rule used is the rule that has the greatest multiplication of support x confidence value.
