Abstract
DYNAMIC OF MARRIAGE HAPPINESS IN CHINESE JAVA MARRIAGE RELATIONS IN SOUTH SUMATRA Happiness is a concept that refers to positive emotions felt by individuals and positive activities that are liked by individuals. Marital happiness is a feeling of pleasure, inner and outer peace in the span of married life. This study aims to find out how the dynamics of marital happiness in Javanese Chinese marriage relations. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The research method used is the method of interviews conducted on two married couples. The results of this study indicate that the success of the adaptation process also reflects the success of the couple in building communication with their partner so that a harmonious and happy family is formed here.
