Abstract

Sendang coffee is one of the MSMEs in East Baturaja sub-district, Sepancar Lawang Kulon sub-district, located in Tegal Arum village. When winnowing coffee, employees experience complaints in the hand muscles. In this study the aim was to produce an ergonomic winnowing device, reduce complaints and improve viewing results. Based on these problems, an ergonomic winnowing device was designed with the QFD Quality Function Deployment method approach, by distributing several questionnaires to employees and farmers with a sample size of 30 respondents. Based on the product suitability test, the tools produced on each attribute of consumer desires are classified as very good and appropriate. Ergonomic winnowing devices are produced to winnow more than one media, namely coffee, corn and rice, for the output of each media, namely 30 kg of corn, 25 kg of coffee, 40 kg of rice. besides that the use of the tool can reduce the level of complaints with the NBM score which was originally 71.06 to 37.36.
