Abstract

Background : Postoperative patients can affect the risk of falling due to one of the effects of anesthesia. So that nursing rounds are needed in preventing the risk of falling. Objective: This study aims to apply nursing rounds in the implementation of fall risk prevention in post operative patients Method: This key study method uses a qualitative case study approach, using accidental samples. Data collection uses a checklist and observation sheet. Results: The results of this study found that the application of nursing rounds was not optimal, Standard Operating Procedure prosedur for the risk of falling already existed, but not all carried out according to the Standard Operating Procedure set by Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra. Suggestions: Carry out nursing rounds optimally, Carry out fall risk prevention assessments, Routinely conduct education for every patient and patient's family with a risk of falling Keywords: Nursing Rounds, Post-Operation, Fall Risk.
