Abstract

Background: The risk of violent behavior is someone's behavior that can harm physically, emotionally, sexually and verbally. The risk of violent behavior that is not addressed will result in harm to oneself, others and the surrounding environment. The risk of violent behavior is divided into two, namely the risk of self-directed violence and the risk of other-directed violence. Many therapies can be given to overcome the risk of violent behavior, one of which is spiritual healing: ablution. Ablution therapy is a relaxation method that combines three therapies, namely massage therapy, hygiene and hydrotherapy. Objective: This study aims to analyze nursing care for patients at risk of violent behavior with ablution therapy interventions at the Ernaldi Bahar Mental Hospital, Palembang. Methods: Preparation of final scientific papers using the case study method which begins with observing 2 people who have signs and symptoms of risk of violent behavior. Results: The signs and symptoms of both respondents after ablution therapy decreased in respondent I there was a change in signs and symptoms of risk of violent behavior by 50% and in respondent II there was a change in signs and symptoms of risk of violent behavior by 21.4%. So it can be concluded that ablution therapy is able to reduce signs and symptoms in both respondents.
