Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the influence of the factors on the capital structure. The factors are asset growth, asset structure, profitability, liquidity, and size of the company. The population in this study are all banking companies listed on the stock exchange. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling method. Total samples are 25 companies. This study used multiple regression analysis with help of SPSS ver. 17. The result of analysis show that the variables which influence significantly the capital structure are asset structure and liquidity. While variables that do not influence significantly the capital structure are asset growth, profitability, and size of the company Keywords: Capital structure, asset growth, asset structure, profitability, liquidity, uml size of the company
