Abstract

PT. Rehobot Emas Makmur is a company engaged in printing, billboard factories and also embroidered clothes recently at PT. Rehobot Emas Makmur purchased 2 new indoor digital printing machines due to the unfulfilled number of orders, but with the 2 new machines the company did not have room to place the machines and because of the 2 new machines the company has 4 digital machines printing press which is not located in the same location so that many workers walk back and forth to carry out the printing process, therefore PT. Rehobot wanted to create a new room so a layout design was carried out to determine the location of the new room using the Activity Relationship Chart method, the result of this research was the addition of a new room for digital printing machines which was brought closer by stairs to the finishing location so that workers did not walk too far and were approached by lifting goods so that they are close to raw materials and can save time as well as, the printing/press machine is brought closer to the oliver machine because the oliver machine functions to print paper while the printing/press machine makes the plates making it easier for workers to complete their work.
